This week the temperatures really dropped here in New York so this week’s Top 5 Tuesday is perfect. This week I’ll be sharing five cozy fall reads.
Fall is always my favorite time to read mysteries, and the Cormoran Strike novels are one of my favorite series right now. Plus, it takes place in London, which always makes me think of cooler weather. The Cuckoo’s Calling is the first novel in the series (and the latest book in the series just came out last week)
Norwegian Wood is one of my favorites and definitely a good candidate as the winter blues approach.
This one is really good around Halloween. It’s a realistic portrayal of the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, and how it affects the world politically, economically, and socially. Also, the audiobook is really great and has a full cast of people.
Okay, so I really did not like this book. BUT, I know a lot of people are crazy for it, and I think that it would make a great fall read if you’re into it. I’ve heard lots of people say they reread the series every Halloween. So, while it’s not my favorite book, I can totally understand why people would love it around this time of year.
My final choice is another mystery novel. I really loved this book and how all of the different character’s stories weave together.
What are some of your favorite books to read in fall?
